We have used myspace for social networking at work for the mashitup program that we run. We use this for communicating to the participates and anyone else interested in the program. We even have it linked so that you can order your final show tickets online.
Participants can become our friends and whenever we have new information we just post it and it is surprising to see how many follow the page.

We are also looking at using a social networking tool for our new youth book clubs. We won't know which one until we have a talk with the group and see which one they might like.
